Planned trail for the Forest Park Hike is a 10 mile section of the Wildwood Trail beginning at the trailhead at SW Knight's Blvd. This beautiful trail covers almost the entire length of Forest Park, stretching 26.3 miles. Along the way, this trail accesses several significant points of interest. For detailed information on Forest Park, you can visit the Forest Park website.
The GSMDCA Forest Park Pack Dog Hike allows dog/handler teams to complete one leg toward a GSMDCA Pack Dog Title. Dog/handler teams successfully completing the hike will receive a qualifying ribbon and certificate. Please contact Laura Machado de Wright or Bonnie Huett for more information and/or directions to this event.
