We will do a GSMDCA-approved, one-day, 10 mile
hike in the Coal Mines Trail in Cle Elum, eastern
WA on October 14th, starting at 9:00 a.m. This trail goes through the
former Burlington
Northern rail line, and connects the historic
towns of Cle Elum, Roslyn, and Ronald.
Plans are to begin the hike 9:00 a.m. from the
trail’s trailhead at Second Street West and Stafford Street intersection
in Cle Elum, WA. Lunch will be provided at
the end of the hike. All participants will practice LNT (Leave No Trace)
hiking.
Entry Fee:
$15 per dog for CGSMDC Members
$20 per dog for Non-Members

Dogs are required to be weighed by the handlers'
veterinarian office staff within 7 days of the
hike date. The handler must provide, on veterinarian
office stationary, the dog's name, weight, date
and staff signature prior to the start of the
hike.
Not ready for a 10 mile hike, or your dog is
not ready to carry the minimum weight? No problem.
