Amber has never met a person she didn't like. Matter of fact, one her all-time favorite activities are greeting new people and getting together with old friends! That is, when she’s not eating, sleeping, kicking her "brother" Porter's butt (gotta keep those big young boys in line), eating, playing with her squeaky toys, did we mention eating - just some of the other activities she enjoys!

She's also a notorious "bed shark" - she'll surf the edges of Jim & Mary's bed until invited up or shooed away (which never happens - she's good at it). If the invite up takes too long, she'll stand still and stomp her foot, giving a little grunt for emphasis. Works every time!

Amber has the distinction of having earned her AKC "CGC" and she is a certified Delta Pet Partner Therapy dog as well. With her personality, she's a natural and a perfect therapy gal! Well, who wouldn't love to see that happy face and wagging tail! Other titles include Love Sponge Extraordinaire, Edible Quality Assurance Inspector, Official Anchorage Dog Park People Greeter…and when she's not busy fulfilling those obligations, she is working on the finer points of harness/draft work and packing and hiking - Phew! Don’t know how she finds time for one of her other favorite pastimes - sleeping!
