Sparky, Spazzy, Stu-Bone, or even "Get Back!" - whatever you call him you're sure to be greeted with a rapidly wagging tail and tons of thrilled Swissy enthusiasm! But his name is actually "Stuart" and he's a beautiful bundle of tri-colored energy. Some of his favorite things to do include herding, burrowing under your shirt, burrowing under the blanket you're using (maybe he gets this from his housemate Fritz the dachshund!), being underfoot, and even Tai Chi (you’ll have to ask Elizabeth about that one!). Stuart lives in Seattle with Perry and Elizabeth Atterberry, along with pop Tucker and aforementioned short-legged housemate Fritz (the real boss of the outfit).

Stu's still just a kid (though a little older now than the 9 weeks in this photo), but he's already earned some impressive titles: Biggest Spaz (winner by unanimous vote in the Atterberry household) & Highest Jumper (3' straight up with all fours)! He's also been doing some herding lessons, so look for him to have a herding title after his name soon!

And speaking of his name, there's an interesting story. Stuart's litter theme was "Humphrey Bogart Movies." Elizabeth chose the movie "China Clipper," one that she had recently seen. Bogart played a pilot named Hap Stuart. The name is also somewhat of a tribute to her brother James, who is a floatplane pilot. The advent of the Clipper series of "floating boats" revolutionized transpacific air travel in the 1930s. See how that all ties together?

Well, this Stu may not be piloting planes anytime soon, but look for him to be doing all sorts of other impressive stunts and activities!
