Skye lives with Michele Slate in Sherwood Oregon, along with Swissies Maggie (who also happens to be her mom), "Uncle" Zuoz, and the true ruler of the roost mixed-breed "Auntie" Mariah. Still, Skye manages to keep them all on their toes, in true Swissy pup fashion! Full of attitude and spunk, she never lets anything get her down - for long. At the ripe old age of three months, she decided it was time to use the doggie door, even though she was still too small to get through easily. Undeterred by her first failed attempts, she kept at it until she devised a way to climb and get her front paws through the opening, then drag her belly and rear end up and out. Viola! She was now able to get herself a drink, just like a "big dog." Funny thing was, for a while she still felt it necessary to climb back in and get Michele to come let her out when it was time to go potty!

Skye's favorite foods? Anything she can get her lips around! Although it seems she's developing a special taste for bananas, just like her mom. Favorite activities include jumping on, chewing on and just generally pestering the rest of the clan, along with the perennial Swissy favorite - sleeping! Lately she can be found having a ball and strutting her stuff in the show ring.

With looks like hers and a name like "Geneva Gold" we're sure it's only a matter of time before she's bringing home the trophies, after all - the Skye's the limit!
