Lexie is a beloved member of the Huett Family, and lives in Carson, Washington, near the scenic Columbia River Gorge with Bonnie, Jim and their kids Wade and Hannah. Bonnie says Lexie has always been such a "Momma" to the kids. When they were little and would fall down or something would cause them to cry, Lexie would get frantic and try desperately to make them stop! Poor Wade was often the unwilling recipient of her good intentions - when he was learning to ride his bike and would fall, Lexie would get extremely upset! She soon made up her mind it was the bike that was causing the problem, and from then on every time Wade would try and ride it, Lexie would run along side and try to pull him off! He finally had to give up trying to ride whenever Lexie was outside!

Lexie’s led a full and busy life, hiking, presiding over the family, and earning numerous titles including the prestigious “BISS” - Best in Specialty Show, and "ROM" - Register of Merit, which means enough of her puppies have earned their Championships that she qualifies for special recognition from the National Breed Club, the GSMDCA. But Bonnie has always given her special recognition, and her title of "VSG" – Very Special Girl – was bestowed by the Huetts in honor of the life full of love and joy she has brought them.

Though her age now qualifies her as a "Veteran" – she’s definitely proof that even in Swissies, the adage "You’re not getting older, you’re getting better" holds true! We look forward to seeing this lovely face for many years to come!
